Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I forgot my laptop charger at home and my mom accidentally sent me my phone charger instead. My laptop requires a 90W USB-C charger. So, I'm wondering if I can use this phone charger to charge my laptop. Will it work, and more importantly, will it damage the battery? Any insights would be super helpful since I have assignments piling up!

You should be fine! Using a lower wattage charger won't damage your laptop. It might charge really slowly or not charge at all while you use it, but you're safe on the damage front. Just make sure it's a proper USB-C charger, and it should work.

Absolutely! Any USB-C charger can technically work with your laptop, even a cheap one. Just keep in mind it could take a long time to charge. And no worries, slow charging can actually be good for battery health!

Just a heads up, if you're using it while charging, it might drain faster than it charges. Best to charge overnight if possible!
