Hey everyone! With SSD prices going up, I'm considering getting a WD_BLACK P10 for storage, but I'm wondering if it's a good choice for gaming as well. Can I use it for that, or is it better suited for something else? Would love to hear your experiences and thoughts!

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it for gaming. It's really more of a media storage solution. For gaming, you'd be better off with a 2.5" SSD or an M.2 drive if you want quicker load times.
Sure, it's just a hard drive, so you can store games on it without issues. But keep in mind that loading times might not be as fast as you'd get with an SSD, especially for demanding titles.
If you're only planning to store less demanding games or files, then sure, go for it! Just remember, a hard drive has a max read speed of about 130MB/s, which is quite slow compared to even entry-level SSDs. It might feel sluggish when loading games.

Got it! So more for media than gaming. Thanks for the heads-up!
