Hey everyone! I have a monitor that only has a VGA port, and I'm wondering if there's any way to connect an adapter so I can plug in both a keyboard and an external soundbar. Does anyone have suggestions or alternative methods?

If your monitor has a USB hub, you could connect devices like keyboards or a soundbar through that, but remember to connect a USB cable from your monitor to the computer for it to work!

Just a heads up, if your monitor only has a VGA input, it can't process sound or connect keyboards directly. You might want to consider getting a monitor with additional ports if you need those functions.

You can't connect peripherals like keyboards or soundbars directly to a monitor that only has a VGA port. Those devices should be plugged into your computer instead. What other ports does your computer have? That’s where you should connect your keyboard and soundbar.

VGA is strictly for video signals, so it won't support audio or USB devices. If your monitor doesn't have a built-in USB hub, then your best bet is to plug those devices directly into your computer instead.
