Can I Use an Australian to UK Adapter for My PC and Monitor?

Hey everyone! I'm planning on moving my PC and monitor from Australia to the UK, and I'm wondering if it's okay to use an Australian to UK plug adapter to power them. Will that work without causing issues? If using an adapter isn't recommended, where can I find an Australian cable that fits both my PC and monitor?

Using adapters is usually fine, but it's best to find the correct cords. If you have a desktop, you might need an IEC C13 (kettle cord), which is pretty common!

It should be fine to use an adapter. Just make sure the voltage matches up. As long as your devices can handle the same voltage range, you should be good to go!

Make sure to check what type of cable you need. Is it an IEC C7 or C13? Most of the time, modern electronics can adapt to international voltages, so just getting the right cable with a UK plug is often cheaper than using an adapter.

If you're staying in Australia for a while, it might be safer and cheaper to just get the right cables there. Most PCs and monitors use standard IEC C13 power cables, which are super affordable and easy to find.
