Hey everyone! I'm getting ready to upgrade my graphics card and need to switch from a 550w Seasonic power supply to a 750w Seasonic one. My question is, can I safely use the power cables from my old 550w PSU with the new 750w PSU from the same brand? I really want to avoid dealing with cable management again!

While some cables might be compatible, I'd say it's not worth the risk. In your case, it's probably best to use the new cables that come with the 750w PSU.
No way! It's not safe to use old cables when you upgrade your PSU, even if it’s the same brand and wattage. There can be revisions in cables or the PSU itself that might cause compatibility issues, which could lead to problems now or later on.
Nope, don't do it! If you really want to use your old cables, make sure to do extensive research on the exact versions of your PSUs and check with Seasonic for compatibility. Some brands like Corsair provide charts showing which cables work with which models. But to be safe, it's usually better to stick with the new cables.
