Hey everyone! I'm looking to set up a USA Apple Account and wanted to know if I can rely solely on a Gift Card for payments in the App Store, without the need to add any other payment methods. Some folks have mentioned that this isn't possible anymore, so I'd love to hear about your experiences. Thanks!

When I created my Apple account, I initially had to provide a bank card. However, once the account was set up, I was able to remove the card and continued to use it without any issues.
To create an Apple Account in the US, you'll need a few things: a valid US address, a US credit or debit card linked to that address, and you need to be physically in the US. I really wouldn't try to create one if you're outside the US, as that could violate Apple's terms and conditions. If that happens, you risk losing access to your account and any gift cards linked to it. It’s just not worth the trouble!
