Hey everyone! I have an MSI Pro VDH WiFi motherboard and a Ryzen 7 5700X processor. Currently, I have 16GB of RAM installed, but I've got an extra 16GB stick just lying around. I'm curious if I can set it up to use triple channel RAM without running into issues. What do you think?

You can definitely install three sticks of RAM, but just a heads up, it won't be running in triple channel mode because your CPU and motherboard support only dual channel. Unless you're doing some seriously heavy RAM tasks, you might not notice a significant performance boost, and you could even experience a bit of a drop in performance like some people mentioned.
To clear things up, you can use three sticks of RAM if you want to. Just keep in mind that it won’t function in triple channel mode. The best setup is typically two sticks for dual channel efficiency.
Using three sticks isn’t optimal since your CPU is designed for dual channel memory. You'd end up with two sticks on one channel and one on the other, which can lead to issues. It's generally better to stick with pairs of sticks for stability and performance.
For what it's worth, all four memory channels are available on your motherboard, but don’t expect triple channel performance. Just be careful with overclocking if you decide to mix the RAM sticks; it might not play nice together.
