Can I Use Xbox Parties on Linux?

I'm planning to switch to Linux Mint from my Windows 10 laptop soon, but I'm nervous about keeping in touch with my friends on Xbox. Most of them don't use Discord, and I really want to know if there's any way to still be a part of Xbox parties while using Linux. Any suggestions on apps or methods that could help?

You can actually join Xbox parties through the Xbox web browser page! I’ve confirmed it works fine on Linux Mint, so that might be your best bet for now.

Unfortunately, it seems like there's not a solid way to use Xbox parties directly on Linux. Have you thought about using Discord instead? It's super convenient and even has support on Xbox, so your friends can use it too!

We've tried that but since most of us are around 16 and 17, we're not allowed to use it unfortunately.

Yeah, you'll probably get the best experience using the browser version for Xbox parties. It's not the perfect solution, but it might do the trick until something better comes along.

I think it's also worth mentioning to always include details about your distro and hardware when asking tech questions! It really helps others give more informed advice.
