Can My 650W PSU Handle an RX 9070 XT with an i5-12400F?

I'm currently experiencing performance issues with my 3060 Ti while gaming at 1440p due to its 8GB of VRAM. I'm considering an upgrade to an RX 9070 or the RX 9070 XT, but I'm a bit concerned about my power supply. I have a 650W Coolermaster MWE V2 Bronze PSU, which is rated A or B tier from what I remember when I bought it in 2022. My CPU, an i5-12400F, typically runs at around 65W. I'd love to hear from anyone with similar setups about whether this upgrade is doable or if I might run into power issues. Thanks for any insights!

I’m running a 9070 XT with a 9800X3D, both overclocked, and I've monitored my entire setup—my power draw is well below 650W. Even with a 4K OLED monitor included, I don’t max out my PSU. The GPU alone can draw a max of around 304W, with short spikes up to about 400W during intense usage. You should be in the clear with your CPU.

It's very doable! If your PSU is of good quality, you should be fine with the 9070 XT.
