I'm curious about whether my boss has the ability to read and respond to my emails using my Google Suite account. We have our emails through Google Suite with a custom domain, and there have been times when my boss has sent replies to emails that were directly addressed to me, even in cases where they weren't included in the original email. I'm wondering if there's any feature in Google Suite or Gmail that could allow this, apart from being logged into my account. I've checked Gmail settings and don't see any relevant options, and when I asked them, they said it was just accidental. Could there be another way for them to do this without logging into my email directly? Thanks in advance!

Yes, your boss could definitely have the ability to respond as you. In many workplaces, IT admins can set things up so they can manage multiple email accounts, including sending responses as if they're you. If it’s a serious concern, you could check with HR since there are logs that might show if they’ve accessed your account.
Absolutely! Admins have significant control over email accounts. They can access yours in various ways, like adding themselves as a delegate user or even using special scripts to send emails as you. If you're feeling uneasy about it, you could check if you’re set up as a delegated user in your settings. That would show if they have access.
I agree with that. You can also use admin tools to check for compliance, which might show if someone’s been rerouting your emails as well.
