Hey everyone! I've got a setup consisting of an Intel Core i7 10700F processor, and I'm planning to upgrade my GPU to the RTX 5060 Ti (currently using a GTX 1060 6GB). My other specs include a Gigabyte Z490M motherboard, an ANTEC 650W PSU, a 1TB Gigabyte AORUS SSD, and 32GB of Corsair DDR4 RAM at 3200 CL16. My main questions are: Do you think this PC will comfortably run games at 1440p and maintain around 180+ fps on high/medium settings? Should I go ahead with the GPU upgrade, or would it be better to invest in a completely new setup? I'm particularly interested in playing the new Battlefield 6 and some other titles.

Don’t forget that your CPU and motherboard are limited to PCIe 3.0, and the 5060 Ti runs on only x8 lanes. I’d recommend considering the 9060 XT since it uses the full x16 interface, which would help performance.
180+ fps at 1440p sounds ambitious! You might be looking at more like 100-120 fps, especially with the CPU bottlenecking. Even with DLSS, that's a stretch. If you're going for performance, you might want to consider an AMD card instead; they generally handle CPU overhead better.
Any GPU upgrade will definitely boost your performance. Just focus on the games you play, and get the GPU. Also, consider the 5070 for 1440p gaming, but the 9060 XT should work well with a bit of FSR4. Just be sure to get a card that utilizes 16 lanes for better efficiency.

Which AMD card do you think would be the best option?
