Hey everyone! I'm looking to start burning CDs both as gifts and for my own use, but I'm not sure if my old HP Pavilion notebook can handle it. It has a CD player, but I don't know if it can actually burn CDs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Check the logos on the front of your CD drive. If you see any mentions like CD-R, CD-RW, or other similar terms, it means your drive can burn CDs. You might also have a program called Nero Burning Rom that came with your laptop, which is handy for creating music or data CDs.
