Hey everyone, I'm really in a bind here! I thought I was dealing with a hardware failure since my Windows 10 PC kept crashing during shutdown. I ended up spending $600 on parts, and things just got worse, culminating in a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) with a watchdog violation error. I couldn't even boot into safe mode at first, but I finally managed to get there and grabbed the .dmp file after the 1001 error. Honestly, it's been over 15 years since I've dealt with anything like this, and I'm struggling to understand the windbg output. I think the problem might be related to a driver. Can anyone help me interpret this minidump? I can share the windbg text if it helps!

Wow, your windbg analysis looks thorough! It seems you're on the right track with suspecting drivers. Make sure to check for any outdated storage drivers or issues related to OneDrive syncing. You could also run DISM and SFC commands to repair any potential system file corruption which might be causing instability.

To analyze BSODs accurately, it's essential you provide the dump files from C:WindowsMinidump. If you can boot into Windows or safe mode, grab any minidump files from there, zip the folder, and upload it to a sharing service like catbox.moe or mediafire.com. Having multiple dump files is helpful, so if you have any others, include them as well. Based on the minidump, it seems like a driver issue might be the culprit, specifically related to the DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (0x133). This usually happens when a driver takes too long to execute. The key points are that your system crashed while handling a disk or network request, often involving storage drivers. Ensure all your drivers, especially those for your storage device, are up to date. You might also want to temporarily disable or uninstall any third-party services like OneDrive to see if that helps.
