Hey Claude team, it would be awesome if you could update the MCP documentation! I've been trying to set up my desktop remote Claude server as well as the local server, and it's been quite the struggle. I get that you're all still finding your way with it, but it's tough when even the YouTube tutorials rely on outdated documents. I've run into quite a few bugs while following them, so any updates would really help! Thanks for all your hard work; it's appreciated!

Could you share which specific guides are outdated? That way, it would be easier for the team to know what needs fixing.
Honestly, this happens with almost every AI company I've encountered. It’s frustrating because even when people submit changes, they often go unnoticed and unreviewed.
I’ve personally made a lot of contributions to their GitHub as well, and it’s clear some updates are indeed necessary. Like the hammer being gone from Claude Desktop; it really threw me off!
Yeah, I hear you. They seem to be swamped with the upcoming release, so updates might be a bit delayed.
I listed the outdated guides on GitHub, but just to highlight some: 1. The JSON writing could be simplified for non-technical users. 2. The hammer tool is missing in Claude Desktop now. 3. There are several bugs in the Python SDK. 4. There’s a conflict between mcp[cli] and FASTmcp.
