Can the RTX 5070 Handle Multi-Streaming at 1080p?

I'm curious if the RTX 5070 is capable of handling multi-streaming at 1080p. I'm planning to stream on Twitch and YouTube using NVENC 264 and AV1. I know some of you might think I'm crazy because I currently own an RX 9070XT, but I've been struggling with driver instability. With the locked features on AMD's side potentially dropping the value of their cards, I'm wondering whether sacrificing the dual encoder for Nvidia's single encoder is a reasonable choice.

Honestly, the 9070 or 9070XT are better options with their dual encoding abilities. Nvidia has had a lot of problems this generation too.

People on Facebook say that at 1080p, having a dual encoder isn't necessary since the second one often doesn't get used. What if AMD decides to lock FSR 5 features to newer generations, which could diminish the value of the 9000 series?

It really depends on your settings. I upgraded from a GTX 5060Ti to the 5070Ti because of its dual NVENC encoders to stream on both Twitch and YouTube. I've been able to manage three streams simultaneously at different resolutions, and it's been pushing the limits of the card.

That's impressive! I switched from an RTX 5060Ti to the 9070XT, and I've seen the differences too. I'm concerned about features being locked behind future generations, though. Can I get the RTX 5070 and overclock it slightly to nearly match the stock performance for multi-streaming without burnout?

Absolutely, it’s capable, but make sure you have everything set up correctly for the best results.

Is a bitrate of 6000 for Twitch (NVENC 264) and 10000 for YouTube (AV1) too high for 1080p? Just making sure my settings are spot on!

Both 9070 and 9070XT offer dual encoders, so going Nvidia might not give you a significant advantage.

What games do you mainly stream? That can influence how much performance you need from your GPU.

Mostly AAA titles that support ray tracing or some gacha games.

Yes, the RTX 5070 can manage multi-streaming effectively, but keep in mind that you may experience some frame drops during intense moments.

Is it true? I thought streaming at 1080p would mostly depend on my CPU, like the Ryzen 5700X3D I’m using.

Actually, the RX 9070 and 9070XT can perform similarly since they offer dual encode/decode, so the difference might not be huge.
