I'm wondering if it's feasible to develop an app that allows people to amplify a speaker's voice during events like public announcements or protests. The idea is that everyone could choose to connect their phones, maybe via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct, so that their phone speakers play the speaker's voice in sync. Ideally, there would be minimal lag, ensuring that everyone hears the speaker clearly and at the same time. Is this something we could realistically implement?

Isn't this concept similar to a conference call? Everyone speaks and listens through their devices—that might work in a more controlled setting.
A simpler solution could be to have the speaker livestream on a platform and let everyone tune in. They'll experience a slight delay, but it might be the easiest way to get the message across without worrying about sync issues.

That's true, but the goal here is to have the phones working together to create a cumulative sound effect, which synchronization is crucial for. Livestreaming just won't achieve that.
