Can You Help Me Optimize My Gaming PC Build?

I've put together a gaming PC build and I could use some feedback! My goal is to be able to play any game I want smoothly. I spent some time watching videos to piece this together, but I'm not too confident. I have a budget of around $3500 for both the PC and monitor, so I'm hoping to trim it down to about $3000. Here's the link to my build: [PCPartPicker Link]. Any suggestions?

Overall, your build is looking pretty good! The GPU choice is solid and you have a decent power supply. If you're looking to save some cash, consider downgrading the CPU a bit. For instance, an Intel i7-12700K would perform just fine for gaming with the RTX 5070 Ti, and it might help you funnel some money towards a nicer ultrawide monitor. Just something to think about!

If I were you, I'd go for the Intel i5-12400 for your CPU, and then invest in the 5080 if you can. That socket (LGA1700) gives you a good upgrade path later on to an i9-14900 if needed. It keeps costs down now but keeps your options open!

Here's an optimized build suggestion that comes out to around $3059:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D
- **Cooler**: Thermalright Aqua Elite ARGB
- **Motherboard**: MSI PRO X870E-P WIFI
- **Memory**: 32GB DDR5-6000
- **Storage**: 4TB M.2 NVMe SSD
- **GPU**: MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
- **Case**: Lian Li Vector V100R
- **Power Supply**: SAMA G850 850W
- **Monitor**: Acer Predator 280Hz 1440p

Feel free to check out the details on [PCPartPicker](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yc8NQy)! This should give you a great gaming experience while staying close to your budget.

I'd suggest swapping the 4TB SSD for a 2TB one and perhaps getting a second 4TB down the line when prices drop. It’s all about managing storage efficiently without overspending right now. Also, I’d recommend looking at the Ryzen 7800X3D instead of the 9850X3D; it's great for gaming, especially at 1440p, and can save you a bit too!
