Can’t Access BIOS After MBR2GPT Conversion on Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3

I've run into a quirky problem with my Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 (2021 model 82EY) after I converted my drive from MBR to GPT and upgraded to Windows 10 Pro. Everything seems to boot fine in UEFI mode, and I even checked that Windows Recovery Environment (RE) is enabled. However, now I can't access the BIOS setup. When I try to enter the BIOS with F1, F2, or the Novo Button, I only see a blue Lenovo Diagnostics screen instead of the normal BIOS interface. I've already confirmed that I'm in UEFI mode and Secure Boot is off, but it seems like the BIOS entry might have gotten corrupted during the conversion. Has anyone experienced this or have a fix for it?

It sounds like you’re having a frustrating time! What might help is using the command shutdown /r /fw in an elevated command prompt. This sometimes forces the firmware interface to pop up after a reboot and could help you regain access to the BIOS setup.

Also, don’t forget to check if there's a specific key that your laptop uses for BIOS access. Sometimes, manufacturers change it, and it might be different from the usual F1, F2, etc.

Just a heads-up, these kinds of BIOS access issues can crop up after major changes like MBR to GPT. If the command doesn’t work, you might need to reset the BIOS settings. If nothing else, checking for any BIOS updates or even resetting the laptop hardware could get you back in.
