Hey everyone! I recently stumbled upon my parents' old Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini from 2012. It hasn't been used in about a decade, but I decided to plug it in, and it actually lit up the charging screen. After letting it charge to about 60%, I tried to turn it on, but nothing happened. I even held down all the buttons, but no luck. The only thing I can see is that charging screen. Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong? Is it worth trying to fix it, or should I just let it go? I'd love to see how it works if possible!

It might be that the screen is broken instead of the phone itself being dead. Have you tried plugging it into a computer? If it shows up in adb or as a device, that would be a good sign! It's odd that it's charging but not booting up fully. Maybe there’s something more to it?
I haven't seen it appear on my laptop at all, just goes back to that charging screen. The phone seems to respond; I just can't get past that point!
