I'm having trouble getting Fortnite to launch on my laptop since the last update. Whenever I try to open it, I get a message saying, "the code execution cannot proceed because Gameinput.dll failed to load. verifying game files may fix this problem." I've already tried verifying the game files, following a YouTube guide, but nothing seems to work. I'm not very tech-savvy, so any guidance would be appreciated!

I've been dealing with the same issue since the update. I spent hours troubleshooting with my brothers who are tech-savvy, and their last resort was to uninstall and then reinstall the game. Unfortunately, that didn't fix it either. I'm really stuck here!
You should try right-clicking on the game in your library and select the option to verify game files. This should help find and fix any missing or corrupted files. It's usually a good first step!
I tried that, but it didn't work. Thanks anyway!

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. It's so frustrating!
