I'm getting back into PC building after eight years and I'm ready to upgrade since my old system with a GeForce GTX 1070 is starting to lag behind. I'm eyeing the Radeon RX 9070 XT for my new build, but with the current prices and availability being tricky, I'm considering going with a preowned GPU in the meantime. I've found a couple of options: a preowned RTX 4060 EVO OC 8GB for €290 and an RTX 3060 OC 12GB for €300. What do you think? Should I wait for the 9070 XT, or do either of these options sound solid? I'm open to suggestions too!

Before you decide, think about the types of games you want to play. Are you into competitive FPS games or more RPGs? For instance, if you want to run games like Monster Hunter Wilds or Skyrim with tons of mods, those GPUs would definitely help, but check benchmarks for your preferred titles!
Honestly, I think you should go for the RTX 3060 OC 12GB. I recently grabbed a used 3060ti for around $200 and it made a noticeable difference compared to my old 1070, even with the same VRAM. Just ensure the used GPU is in good shape. A boost like that can really help while you wait for better deals on the 9070 XT!
I'm definitely leaning towards RPGs. I really want to run Monster Hunter Wilds since I can't do that now. Skyrim is another big one for me with mods!
