Computer Freezes After Upgrading to Ryzen 7 5700

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my CPU to a Ryzen 7 5700 and updated my BIOS on my GB AB350 Gaming Rev 1 motherboard. However, after installing the new CPU, my computer starts fine but then shuts down or gets stuck—like, the screen goes black, the fans rev up really loud, and it gets unresponsive. I'm running Windows 11 Pro with default BIOS settings. Any advice on what might be going wrong?

It sounds like a power issue. What CPU did you remove, and how many watts does your power supply deliver? Knowing the wattage requirement for both the old and new CPUs is crucial to determine if your power supply can handle the Ryzen 7 5700.

I had a Ryzen 3 1200 before, which required 300W. My power supply is 600W, and I believe the Ryzen 7 5700 needs around 500W.

Have you tried clearing the CMOS? Sometimes resetting the BIOS can resolve startup issues after a CPU upgrade.

Yeah, I already did that but it didn't help.
