Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and could really use some advice. Currently, I have a Radeon RX 7600 XFX Speedster with 8GB of VRAM. I've been eyeing the 9060 XT, which offers 16GB of VRAM. I know that increasing the VRAM will definitely help, but I'm wondering how much of an upgrade the 9060 XT actually is compared to what I'm using now. My budget is around $500, so I'm also curious if there are other options that might be a better fit without going overboard. Aside from the 9070 XT, which is out of my price range, are there any middle-ground alternatives I should consider?

If you're considering an Nvidia option, the RTX 5070 might fit in your budget. Just make sure it’s compatible with your current AMD setup. I know some people worry about mixing brands, but it should work just fine!
The 9070 non-XT is around $619.99 where I am, so that could be an option if you're open to a slight budget stretch. The XT models are starting around $720, though, so they're definitely pricier.

That’s good to know! I was a bit nervous about mixing brands since my whole build is AMD, but I’ll definitely look into the 5070.
