Considering a PC Upgrade: What’s Worth Keeping?

Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade my PC and I'm located in the Netherlands. My current setup includes a B450M Pro-VDH MAX motherboard, a Gigabyte 1660S graphics card, an R5 3600 processor, and 32GB of Corsair RAM. I'm not sure about my power supply, but I think it's around 450W bronze. I have a 500GB M.2 SSD and a 1TB Seagate HDD as well. When I upgrade, what parts should I consider keeping? My budget for the upgrade is ideally around €1500, but I'm looking for the best value. I've put together a list of potential parts, but I'm unclear about which motherboard and power supply to choose since I'm not into RGB lighting. I'm mainly focused on gaming and I don't need any peripherals. Thanks for your help!

If you're going for DDR5, it might be worth considering an AM5 setup rather than just sticking with the 14600KF. If you stay on DDR4, since you already have an AM4 board, just do a BIOS update and grab something like the 5800X or a less expensive X3D chip from AliExpress to save a lot of cash while getting similar performance. This way, you can upgrade without completely replacing everything.

Yeah, but wouldn’t keeping my motherboard and RAM for another upgrade be an issue down the line? It’s already 7 years old, and if I need to upgrade again, it means I’ll have to switch the motherboard completely, right? I’m just trying to figure out if I should go for a full upgrade now instead of piecemeal.
