Considering a Switch to Linux: Best Distro for Privacy, Security, and Creative Work?

I'm looking to transition away from products like Google, Microsoft, and Meta, and I want to switch to Linux along with browsers like Brave and services like Proton. It's a big change, and I'm taking my time with it. I have an ASUS TUF A15 laptop and not much experience yet, as I've just started reading beginner computer science books. I want to keep my options open for a tech career while also exploring my creative side, which includes making music, art, animations, and editing videos. I'll probably use software like Blender, Reaper, FL Studio, and Ableton. I've heard about WINE for running Windows applications on Linux, and I'm interested in recommendations for the best Linux distro to meet my needs. What do you suggest? What are your thoughts on Fedora?

You can't go wrong with any major Linux distros like Zorin, Ubuntu, Mint, or PopOS. Fedora is solid, but I would suggest getting familiar with the other options first. Also, don't forget to check out the Proton ecosystem for gaming and other applications!
