Considering a Used PSU for My New PC Build—Is It Safe?

Hey everyone! My friend is upgrading his PC and has offered me his 850w Arctic blue ad-e850ae power supply for my new build. I'm really thankful for the offer, but the PSU looks a bit sketchy, and he hasn't had it for very long. I've had a scary experience with a PSU blowing up before, so I'm feeling a bit nervous about using it. I'm looking for some advice on whether it's safe to use or if I should look for a different one. If it's not reliable, what's a good PSU I can get that can support an RTX 3060 and either a Ryzen 5 3600 or 5600 for under £50?

I found a post that says this particular model might be dangerous and isn’t trustworthy. Maybe get a second opinion, though, since it’s always good to get a range of perspectives.

Yeah, I’d prefer another opinion too instead of just taking that one at face value, haha.
