I'm contemplating a switch from Ubuntu 22.04 LTS due to the snap issue. I'm looking for the best Ubuntu-based options for my needs. I mainly use my system for cybersecurity work, particularly penetration testing, as well as gaming. I know about Linux Mint, but I'm open to other suggestions!

You should definitely consider Debian! If you don't set a root password during installation, it can be quite straightforward. It’s stable and doesn't have the snap issue.

That sounds good! But what about NVIDIA support on Debian?
