I'm thinking about switching from my current CPU to an AMD one and could really use some recommendations. My current setup can be viewed here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pDzhfd. I want to keep my GPU, but I'm looking to enhance my build mainly for browsing with Firefox/Chrome, doing some schoolwork, using Photoshop occasionally, and of course, gaming on Steam. The games I play most often are Monster Hunter Wilds, Smite 2, Halo, Battlefield, modded Skyrim, and Baldur's Gate 3. I'm not aiming for ultra settings; I prefer high settings while ensuring it runs smoothly. There's no set budget for the CPU upgrade, but I'm open to spending what's necessary to improve performance. Any feedback or suggestions would be great!

Are you switching for a specific reason? It seems like you haven't faced any performance issues with your games. Also, just out of curiosity, what's your budget looking like?
I haven't noticed any performance issues. I'm primarily considering the switch because my motherboard lacks built-in WiFi, and I've heard AMD is reliable for gaming. Plus, I'm a bit concerned about the CPU running at 100% even when idle. Is that standard? Also, should I think about getting a better cooler for the 13600K?
Honestly, given your current CPU (the 13600K), I don’t see a strong reason to switch unless you're dealing with performance hiccups. You mentioned CPU running at 100% often; is that affecting your performance?
