I'm looking to switch out my 4070 Super since I play games at 1440p and I don't care much about ray tracing. I have a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, and I'm wondering what my options are for an upgrade. Any suggestions?

You might want to reconsider not caring about ray tracing. Upcoming AAA titles heavily rely on it—it's becoming standard. Maybe getting a card that supports it would be worth it in the long run.
I had a 4070 Super and only switched to a 5070 Ti for 4K gaming. If you're serious about upgrading, both the 5070 Ti and 9070 XT are solid choices. The 9070 XT could save you some cash if you're not worried about ray tracing.
Thanks! I’ve been eyeing the 9070 XT, but I’m not sure if it would be a big leap from what I have.
Upgrading from a 4070 Super might seem odd since it’s already a strong card. If you’re looking to boost performance, you might consider the 5070 or 5070 Ti. The 5070 will give you a small performance increase without breaking the bank, while the 5070 Ti would be a more significant upgrade if you’re fine with spending a bit more.
I'm thinking about the 5070 Ti too but I’m just concerned if my setup can handle it without bottlenecking.
I just want to max out my settings at 1440p!
Just go for the 5080 or higher. Any lower won’t give you a substantial boost, in my opinion.
I get that, but those options feel a bit overkill for my system right now.
If you’re looking at new cards, the 5080 and 5090 would offer a noticeable upgrade, but they're currently overpriced. If you're not ready to spend that much, it might be better to hold off and save your cash for something else.

It's wild to think that they're pushing games towards ray tracing just to sell more expensive GPUs. I've got 12GB RAM, but I really don’t use ray tracing much, as seen in Spider-Man 2.
