Considering Upgrading to an i5 14600k from a Ryzen 5 5600x

I'm looking to upgrade my current setup from a Ryzen 5 5600x to an Intel i5 14600k as I recently bought an RX 9070 and feel like my CPU is bottlenecking its performance at 1440p. I plan to buy a new motherboard and reuse my existing DDR4 RAM. Here are a few questions I have: 1. Can the 14600k handle 4 sticks of RAM on XMP (4x8), considering they are all single rank? I've heard Intel CPUs have decent memory controllers, but I'm not sure how it compares to AMD. 2. How much will my DDR4 3000 MHz RAM impact the performance of the 14600k? What kind of performance drop should I expect compared to using DDR5 RAM? 3. Is my current CPU cooler, the Fera 5, sufficient for the 14600k? Its TDP is rated at 220W, so I think it should be okay, but I want to make sure before I upgrade. I appreciate any insights!

Honestly, I'm not sure this upgrade is worth it. Intel's newer CPUs can be a bit of a dead end with hardware defects in some generations. You might want to stick with the 5600x and wait for AM5 prices to drop instead... just a thought!

I thought the 14600k wasn't affected by those degradation issues, though. Isn't it in a different class?
