I recently upgraded from a GTX 1060 to a 5070 ti after 10 years and now I'm experiencing a really loud, high-pitch noise when the system is under load. I'm wondering if this is coil whine? It's so loud that I can hear it clearly from my living room, and headphones aren't helping at all. The noise starts to ramp up when the GPU hits around 40% usage. Here's a link to a short video I recorded: https://youtube.com/shorts/-gfhgXY3Chs?si=0Cjs_2eU93fCwdnD

Yep, that definitely sounds like coil whine. Some level of this noise is common, but it can get excessive, especially if your PSU is aging. If it’s over 9 years old like your previous GPU, it might be contributing to the issue due to increased ripple.
To me, that noise resembles a fan scraping against the heatsink fins. Have you tried adjusting the fan speeds? Sometimes that can help mitigate the sound.
Sounds like you’re dealing with some pretty severe coil whine. I’ve had similar experiences before. Just out of curiosity, what model power supply are you using?
