Dell XPS 15 9530 Won’t Turn On After Shutdown—Any Ideas?

I need some help with my Dell XPS 15 9530. I was just using it normally when I shut it down to check a WhatsApp message. Shortly after shutting it down, I tried to power it back up, but now it seems completely dead. There are no power lights, no LED under the touchpad, and no fan noises—it's as if it's turned into a brick. Could this be a case of the common CMOS issue that these laptops have, or is it more likely that I've blown a motherboard component, like a MOSFET or something? I'm debating whether it's worth my time and effort to buy a Torx screwdriver to check the CMOS battery, or if I should just accept that the motherboard might be toast. Any advice would be appreciated!

Have you attempted a power drain? You might want to try unplugging the laptop, holding the power button down for about 30 seconds, and then pressing it again for just a second to see if it powers back on.

Another option is to try charging it with a different charger. The battery could be dead, which would prevent it from lighting up or booting, even if the charger seems functional.
