Hey everyone, I need some serious help! I'm using a B450M Steel Legend motherboard and was running a single 8GB stick of Asgard DDR4 3600MHz RAM. Today, I tried to upgrade by adding two Corsair Vengeance LPX sticks, making it 32GB total (2x16GB, also DDR4 3600MHz). I installed them in the second and fourth slots (A2 and B2), but now my PC powers on without displaying anything. It stays on for about 40 seconds before entering a loop of turning off and on again. I even tried putting my old RAM back in, but it's doing the same thing! I'm clueless about what went wrong. Any ideas? 😢

If it doesn't work after you've waited, try removing the RAM and clearing the CMOS. Then, reinsert the RAM. If that still doesn't get your PC running, you might need to return the Corsair RAM and consider getting a different brand.
First off, it might just need some time for memory training. Seriously, give it a break for a bit. Just walk away and let it do its thing; it can be a little spooky if you’re not familiar with it. It might just be figuring things out!
Yep, that's spot on! Just let it be for a while. If you're unsure, should you leave both new sticks in for this "training" process or just one? Just checking to make sure things are right.
Definitely leave both sticks in and give it some time to train. It should be able to handle them together.
How exactly do I clear the CMOS?
