I accidentally sprayed some cleaning liquid on my Mac's trackpad. I'm concerned that I might have caused liquid damage. I took it to the Apple Store, and it passed all the diagnostics. Is there a way to check if I tripped the liquid damage indicator? The trackpad seems to be functioning properly as well.

First off, spraying liquid directly onto any part of your Mac isn’t a great idea. Always use a lint-free cloth and spray it to keep it damp, not soaking wet. As for the liquid damage indicator, it can't be checked without looking directly at it, so it's hard to know for sure if it was triggered. Just keep an eye on how it works in the coming days!
Yeah, totally avoid spraying anything directly. You mentioned you used a whoosh cleaning spray, which is popular, but it's best to apply it to the cloth first. Since your trackpad is working fine and passed diagnostics, it sounds like you're in the clear, but just monitor it to be safe.

Thanks for the tips! I'll be more careful next time.
