Did I pay too much for my 9070 XT graphics card?

I recently purchased a Sapphire Nitro+ 9070 XT from Newegg for $899.99. However, I found an MSI Ventus OC model available for the same price, and I'm starting to wonder if I overpaid. I'm primarily gaming at 1440p, playing titles like BO6, R6, GTA, and some esports games. Can anyone help me determine if I got scammed or if this price is reasonable?

You made a decent choice. If it works well for what you play, that's what matters! Besides, you've said the 5070 Ti isn't going to be useful for you. Stick with the 9070 XT if it meets your needs!

Yeah, it's quite likely you paid more than you should have for that card. But don't feel too bad—many people are in the same boat given the current market conditions.

Honestly, the Sapphire model is pretty solid compared to the Ventus, which some say isn't as good. Given the craziness of prices right now, it might not be the worst deal. Just see how it performs for your games and if it's working well, stick with it!

Just a heads up, the 9070 XT is generally valued at $599. Paying around $900 is quite a hike, so if you really want to maximize your value, returning it might be worth considering. However, if you're happy with what it can do for your gaming needs, maybe keep it.
