Did I wreck my SSD after a Windows reset?

I accidentally shut down my laptop during a Windows 11 reset while it was at the installation stage. Now, when I turn it back on, I get an error saying: "the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed." I tried making a bootable USB for Windows installation, but during that process, I couldn't find my SSD; it only recognized the USB drive. What do you all think? Am I in trouble here or is there a way to fix this without spending a lot of money?

You're not necessarily out of luck! Your SSD might not be detected in the BIOS. First, check if your SSD shows up there, as it could just be a partition issue instead of a complete SSD failure.

Definitely check your BIOS settings. If your SSD doesn’t appear there, you might want to open up your laptop and ensure that the drive is properly connected. Sometimes it just needs a little nudge to reconnect it. If it still doesn’t show up, try downloading a disk utility like GParted on a USB to see if you can get it recognized again.

Also, keep in mind that sometimes Windows installations won’t recognize your SSD from a USB drive. You could try using a DVD for the installation instead to see if that works. It’s worth a shot!
