Hey everyone! I just picked up a PNY 5070 Ti Plus GPU and realized I might need a new power supply (PSU) to support it. Currently, I'm using a Corsair CS Series 650W Modular 80+ Gold PSU. I checked a few PSU calculators, and they suggest my setup will draw around 450W, so I technically have enough power with my 650W unit. My first question is whether I really need to buy a new PSU at all? If I do need to replace it, can anyone suggest a good option in the $100 range? I'd prefer a modular PSU since my budget for this has shrunk a bit after the recent price jump of the GPU from $3300 to $3900. Thanks for your help!

So, if your current PSU has three PCIe 8-pin connectors, you might be okay using it, but I'd recommend getting a new one for safety. A solid choice would be the Montech Century II 850W, which is around $85 in the US. Just a heads-up, though: your CPU is a bit outdated and could bottleneck your performance with the 5070 Ti. You might not get the full benefit of your new GPU because of that.

Is this PSU good? [MSI MAG A750GL PCIe5 II 750W](https://www.morele.net/zasilacz-msi-mag-a750gl-pcie5-ii-750w-306-7zp8e11-ce0-14633544/)
I've read that the Ryzen 5 7600 is solid enough, even for future GPUs like the 5080.
