I'm considering buying a Dell Optiplex 7070 MT because it's equipped with an Intel Core i7-9700, which I think is still pretty modern. I'd like to upgrade it with a GTX 1650 for gaming, but I'm uncertain about the power supply. Some graphics cards require external power, while others don't. I want to be proactive since I can't rely on eBay sellers to show the PSU connectors clearly. Since I'm on a tight budget with this being my first build, I'd love any suggestions for affordable, reliable PSUs if a replacement is necessary. Thanks a lot!

Just a heads up, Dell desktops like the Optiplex typically don’t use standard ATX power supplies, so you might need to get a specific one for it. Look into models made for Dell systems to avoid compatibility issues.
Make sure to check if you're getting a used or refurbished unit. If you're buying from eBay, just double-check the seller's rating. It's generally safer to go for reputable sellers who provide good images of their products.
Yeah, I'm leaning towards used options since I'm trying to keep costs down. I'm aiming for something around $100 or less.
Exactly why I'm asking if I need to replace it! I’m aware that regular ATX supplies won’t fit. Thanks for the info!
