I'm new to building PCs and I have an Omen 25-L GT15-2. I'm looking to upgrade my power supply to a 750W unit, but I'm concerned about potential proprietary connectors on my motherboard (it's an 8B1D model). Will a standard ATX power supply work, or do I have to worry about compatibility issues? Here are my current specs: 4060 Ti 8 GB, i7-14700F, and 16 GB 5200 DDR5, with a current 600W 80 Plus Gold power supply.

The best way to figure this out is to just open your PC case and check out the connectors firsthand. That way, you can see exactly what you’re dealing with. If you find out what kind of connectors you have, it’ll be a lot easier to determine if a standard ATX PSU will fit without issues.
I can take a picture of my connectors if that helps! I have a photo showing the 8-pin and 24-pin connectors still plugged into the motherboard, but the 8-pin isn't connected.
