I'm trying to figure out if I need to purchase an additional SSD specifically for Windows, or can I manage with just one 2TB SSD? What do you think?

Having a separate smaller SSD for the OS can be beneficial. It offers peace of mind since you can reinstall Windows without touching your data on a larger drive. If you choose one SSD, be careful with what you install on the C drive, as some programs might conflict with the OS.
It's not like back in the day when multiple drives were necessary. Just grab a good NVMe SSD, and you'll be fine with everything running off that.
You can totally get away with just one SSD! A single drive can hold everything you need nowadays.
Got a specific reason for wanting two SSDs?

I was thinking of one for Windows and the other one for games.
