I'm working on my first PC build and I have all the parts ready. I found a nice list of components, but I realized I forgot to think about extra fans. How many fans do I actually need for a good setup?

I've managed without any additional fans, but keep in mind my case is pretty large and has a good airflow design. If your case is like mine, you might not need them right away.
I’ve heard that older components can sometimes be a bad match with newer tech. If you're using an older GPU like a 7900xt, just keep an eye out for compatibility issues with modern hardware.
Most builds generally do well with about two fans for intake at the front and one for exhaust at the back. It really comes down to how many fans your case already includes.
Yes, I think extra fans are important for cooling, but it's not an emergency right away. Just make sure the airflow isn't blocked. Adding fans can ease your worries about overheating since by the time your build is together, you'll be a bit nervous about it!
