Do I need to back up any security keys after enabling TPM?

Hey everyone! I recently enabled TPM because I'm thinking about upgrading to Windows 11. I'm a bit lost on what TPM actually does and I'm worried about potentially losing access to my files due to unexpected issues or hardware failure. Should I back up any security keys or anything important?

It's definitely a good idea to back up your TPM keys, especially if you'll be using it for something like BitLocker encryption. If you use the TPM at all and something happens to your motherboard or TPM chip, you might need those keys to access your encrypted drives. So, better safe than sorry!

Thanks for the tip! Can I back up the TPM key now, or do I need to wait until I have BitLocker set up?
