Do I need to buy a new PSU or just an extra PCIe cable for my liquid cooling?

I recently purchased an MSI 850GL power supply unit (PSU), and I've learned that my liquid cooling system requires a PCIe cable to function properly. I only received two PCIe cables with the PSU, and now I'm wondering if I should get a whole new power supply or if I can simply buy an additional cable.

Typically, modular power supplies come with all the cables you need. If yours didn't, it might be designed that way. Just be cautious about buying additional cables, as using the wrong type can damage your PSU or even other components of your system. Make sure they match the specs!

I have all the cables that came with it, but I didn’t realize my liquid cooling needed a PCIe cable. Since I’m short one and my PSU has the slot for it, I wanted to be sure before getting a new PSU.
