I'm planning to build a couple of basic gaming PCs for my daughters and I'm trying to figure out if I need to purchase a separate Windows license for each one. I already have Windows on my own gaming PC and on my wife's as well. Can I use either of those copies for the new builds? Any advice would be appreciated!

If you’re looking to save some money, consider checking out alternatives. There are definitely cheaper options than the retail version of Windows out there, especially if you go for OEM versions or even some authorized resellers.
Honestly, do you really need to buy Windows for each PC? Typically, a regular consumer license is only for one computer or tied to a Microsoft account. But there's a silver lining: you can install Windows without entering a license key. You'll just see a watermark in the corner of the screen and won't be able to customize things like the wallpaper, but it'll still function as Windows!
That's a good workaround! I did that on my old laptop and it worked just fine. Plus, if you're just using it for basic gaming, it might be all you need.
