I just got a new DVD player and I'm curious if it's plug and play with Windows 11, or do I need to install some software to get it working? My old laptop didn't require anything, but I'm not sure about this one.

Usually, these DVD players are plug and play, so you shouldn't need to install any extra software. If you do run into any issues, checking out VLC is a great option – it's reliable and easy to use!

Thank you! I got it to work with VLC!

If it's a USB DVD player, your computer should automatically download any necessary drivers when you plug it in. Just give it a moment after connecting; it usually doesn't take long before it recognizes the device!

Most USB DVD players nowadays are pretty straightforward. They typically work right off the bat unless it's an older model. Just in case, check if a restart helps after connecting it. I had that happen once!

I bought mine from Amazon and it just arrived today! Looks like I'll be testing it out!
