When I built my PC, I manually installed drivers for all my components, like the CPU from AMD's site. If I upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, do I have to reinstall all my drivers, or will everything stay intact during the upgrade? Here are my specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, Motherboard: MSI X570 Tomahawk WiFi.

You should be fine with the upgrade, but keep an eye out just in case. Sometimes things can go wrong during the transition.
I had a friend whose GPU driver got messed up during the upgrade. I recommend reinstalling the GPU, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and motherboard chipset drivers just to play it safe. It’s not that much hassle, and it can help avoid any issues later on.
Windows will install default drivers for the upgrade, but I'd suggest reinstalling the CPU, GPU, and motherboard drivers after the fact. It’s usually just a few downloads, so it’s better to be safe than sorry!
Yeah, I see mixed replies everywhere. Most say I'll be fine, but I guess I’ll find out soon enough since I'm upgrading soon.
If you’re worried about driver issues, the best route might be to do a clean install of Windows. That way you can avoid any potential .sys file blocks or corrupted drivers.
Okay got it. Thank you.
