I recently moved my PC upstairs, and I think something went wrong during the process. I found an old PC that I put together, and it worked fine for a few weeks. However, after moving it downstairs, I noticed that a few pins on the CPU were bent (around 2-3 on the edges). I straightened them out and reassembled everything, but now the power button won't work. I did a PSU test, and everything seems fine, but the system just won't start up. What are my options?

You could also consider taking it to a repair shop for an estimate. Just a heads up, though, prices can be pretty high, so compare a few places if you go that route!
When you mention a PSI test, are you referring to the PSU? If so, that's good, but be aware that the CPU or the socket might be damaged beyond repair due to the bent pins. You might want to check those carefully.
Yeah, sorry, I meant PSU! I'm considering getting a new one since it was 1400 watts and is a Ryzen model. There's some potential for improvement there.
Have you thought about getting a POST diagnostics card? They're pretty useful for figuring out where the boot process is failing. Just a tip: the diagnostic codes can vary by manufacturer, so keep that in mind if you go this route. But unfortunately, it sounds like you might end up needing a new CPU or motherboard. Just be careful with damaged sockets, as they can mess up CPUs, too.
That's a good idea! I think I might go ahead and get a new CPU and motherboard along with an SSD. My wallet is definitely gonna feel it, though!
Yeah, I've heard that the shops around here can be super pricey. I'm trying to avoid that if I can.
