I'm planning to upgrade my motherboard from an Asus Prime A320M-K to an MSI MPG Gaming Plus, and I want to know about the BIOS setup. Specifically, do I need to transfer the BIOS from my Asus board to the new MSI board, or should I look for a BIOS version for the MSI online? Also, should I worry about this update now, or can I wait until I upgrade my CPU? For reference, I'm currently using an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and considering moving to a Ryzen 5 7600X later on.

You shouldn't need to worry about the BIOS for your new MSI motherboard when you get it. Most modern motherboards, like the MPG B550 Gaming Plus, come prepped and ready to use with newer CPUs, like the Ryzen 5 7600X, straight out of the box.
Just to add on, make sure to check the MSI website for the latest BIOS updates once you get your new board, but it likely won't be necessary to do anything right away. They usually have the support needed for new CPUs already.
