Do I Need to Upgrade My CPU for a New RX 7800 XT?

Hey everyone! I recently got a new RX 7800 XT GPU to upgrade my setup. Currently, I'm using an i5-14400F processor. I mostly play FPS games like Apex Legends and CS2, but I also enjoy single-player titles like Assassin's Creed and Red Dead Redemption 2. My monitor is 2540x1440, but I switch to 1260x960 when playing CS2. I'm concerned about whether my CPU will bottleneck this new GPU, especially in CS2. I previously had an RTX 4060 and I'm wondering if I need to upgrade my CPU after this upgrade. Any advice?

Just install the RX 7800 XT and monitor your GPU utilization while playing. If you notice that the usage is consistently low, then it might be a sign of a CPU bottleneck. But if it runs fine, you’re all good!

Got it! But if I see low utilization, would you recommend overclocking my CPU first before considering an upgrade?
