Do I need to upgrade my GPU if I switch to a Ryzen 5 7600X3D?

I'm considering upgrading to a Ryzen 5 7600X3D for my PC. I'm curious whether this upgrade would cause a bottleneck with my current GPU, the RX 9060 XT. If I decide to also switch to a 7800 XT, would that be a better match?

No worries, both GPUs should pair just fine with the Ryzen 5 7600X3D. You're safe to keep your RX 9060 XT; it won't bottleneck your system at all.

Not even close! Your Ryzen will handle things smoothly without causing any serious bottleneck issues.

If you're moving to a new CPU, just remember, you don’t HAVE to upgrade your GPU at the same time. Bottlenecks become a bit overrated with modern hardware setups. Enjoy building!

It's all about your resolution and settings. At 1440p or 4K, your GPU will be what holds you back. At 1080p with high FPS, you're more likely to be CPU limited, but that's normal!
